I'm lovin' the stuff already posted. My grandma had bought some crocheted scrubbies made from nylon netting and gave me one to figure out how to make. So I  bought a few yards of it, and tried. But I had problems with the edges of the netting sticking out. It made it look fuzzy. I was thinking about using my bias tape maker to fold the edges in, but i haven't attempted it yet.

I used tulle that I bought on a roll at JoAnn's and a big hook (it isn't labeled, and the Sharpie writing that I put on it has rubbed off... but it's fatter than a pencil and slightly bigger than a Crayola thin marker... I don't have a ruler handy). It seemed to naturally fold in on itself as I made it. The tulle  is a little less than 6" wide and came on a 25 yard roll. I used more than half, I think, to make the scrubbie.

I know I used a M hook. The scrubbie I have is a rectangle, well two rectangles with a sc edge. I think it was like 10 or maybe 11 sc x 12 or 13 rows.  Now I'm need to break out the stuff try again.

I did 2 circles with 2 rounds- 12 sc into a magic ring (R1) and then 2 sc into each sc (R2). I wove in the ends on the first one, and the starting tail on the second. I didn't fasten off on the second but joined the 2 circles with sc around.

If I had thought for a moment more before I cut the tulle to fasten off, I might have chained a few to make a loop to hang it with. I'll do that on the next one!

I like the pattern that the blue made! It's the magic of variegated yarn Wink
