Lovely work, you have incredible talent. I hope one day I can make something as pretty as that.

This is very pretty, I especially like the detail in the neckline, and the fabric is beautiful!. I love making beautiful clothing for vacation, now that item will always have fun memories attached to it.

Thanks again for your generous comments. I got the trim with this fabric in mind and it turned out perfect to compliment each other.

And thanks to all of whom to have taken time to check out the post regarding my vacation trip to kodaikanal on my blog. It motivated me to share my outing/picnic trips in future. what better way to share one's culture and places of tourist interest in one's country.

Pattern is self drafted one, basically extending basic bodice to hem-length desired and adding slit to it, also add a mandarin collar to it. Snap in the ties, and you are ready to go.

Thanks !

This is lovely. Especially the neckline. May I be cheeky and ask if you could possibly make a tutorial for it if you have time for it? It is such a nice touch to the dress.

Beautiful dress, it looks comfortable too, which is especially important on vacation.
Kodai looks beautiful, my boyfriend actually used to go to boarding school there, he remembers a lot of the places in your pictures
