It's my birthday Tuesday, and I pretty much always use any birthday as an excuse to make a cake.
So, after seeing a bunch of rainbow cakes online, and having spent quite a chunk of the last year doing assorted tie dying, I went for a tie dyed looking cake.

Since I just-so-happened to have gotten a kitten the day I decided to make the cake,  I just used a basic white cake mix and a lot of food coloring. (It was hard to pry myself away from kitty for too long.)

The icing is white icing painted with liquid food coloring and paint brushes.

The inside looks pretty cool, though. It kind of reminded me more of fruit stripe gum than tie dye, but I love fruit stripe anyway.  Grin

Oh fun!  I love tie dyed stuff!

@MyNameIsWill Unless you eat the batter or the frosting, then I don't think it would.  Since it's already baked.
