Under A Full Moon - New Pieces in the Line

I actually made these (and a few more I haven't photographed yet) a couple months ago. Sadly, February and March were awful months for me as my best friend - someone like a brother to Love and I - went in for emergency open-heart surgery and wound up passing away two weeks later. I'm still reeling from it all so I haven't really had a chance to show off some of the pieces I made right before that all happened.

These are follow-ups to the Under A Full Moon original I made back in early February. I've expanded on the idea and made some different variations.

Wow, I love your work. There's nothing I love more than trees, especially since I live in Arizona and I'm stuck looking at only cacti now. I'm so sorry about your loss. The tree is very appropriate actually as it's supposed to symbolize the loss of a close family member or friend. Just be strong like the tree and continue to make such beautiful pieces.

I can't imagine living in a desert. Even Florida is vastly different from Western PA and it's mountains and forests of my childhood! But at least we do have trees! (Though like you and cacti, I've had my share and then some of palm trees! )

Those are very beautiful! I rather like the Desert Moon one. The colors in the stone remind me of Jupiter X3 I'm also intrigued that you also are an M. Turner like me, and you live in Florida! Are we long lost siblings? *laughs* Saw it in your watermark.
