I love making these.
 So thought I'd share these with you and the pattern

please let me know what you think

mi daughter helps most to show how to measure
from under the jaw bone over the head and under the jaw bone (A)


from the back of the head and to the hairline (B)


forgot to show how you take the measurement inn the back, but 7-10cm is ok (1-4years) (C)



the parts you Vil need:
You can vary the front edge as you want


Sew on the lace



sew inner cap

Add the gathered band on the longest side of the fabric
be sure not to put it right out to the corners
sew on making it easier to mount next section


Sew on the inner cap


so it now appears on the reverse side


it looks like when it is directed as it should be


needle and sew on strip


fold and sew down


tread bands and you're done
