I made these for my friend for graduation.  He's going into a computer grad program.
I cut the tabs off the back of the keys (be very careful, I cut myself severely) and then glued magnets cut to size.

The second I cut the tabs off and glued them to a chip clip.  Then I glued a magnet strip to the back.  It's for holding your grocery list or to do list onto your frig.

Be careful!  I cut my hand really bad doing this.  Maybe if you have something more powerful than an exacto knife.

that must have been some monster of a keyboard. I used an ancient MAC one and the keys just pop off Smiley

ps- here are what some of mine turned out looking like. They are for my boyfriend, who is moving back down (after being home for the summer) to Tucson,

The best part about the keyboard I used was it had crazy old apple keys, like the POWER key!
