A friend of mine and I plan to make plush fruits and sell them online, but the going is slow since she refuses to learn how to sew and I get distracted easily. So far I have completed only one, and due to a little mistake during the sewing process, it came out with the face upside-down, resulting in a frowning orange instead of a smiling one.

We named him Test Subject Orange.

Here's the in-progress shot.
Test Subject Orange is really quite a simple creature, made of orange and green felt with black permanent marker to draw in the details. The two pieces of felt are held together with a backstitch, and he is stuffed with polyfil.

Oh sad! Very cute though. I turned my laptop screen around to see what he would look like smiling and I have to say that I think I like the frowny face better Smiley Sad.
