So there was a Poppet angel needed for gal who made a lovely poppet for her partner but her partner didnt come through and since I didnt have any projects that were on a time line I said I would go for it. Her family likes Legend of the Seeker and the Character Darken Ruhl.  So I scoured the net for pictures and found some. So here is the poppet and the inspiration. She got him today so I can post them. I really enjoyed making him and The first poppet I ever made for someone I dont know
She also got a second outfit for him when he is not acting and some yarn and alova suede. Hope she likes it.

My inspiration:

My husband painted on the Mustache and goatee.

This is how I did the designs I put thin yarn in glue and wrapped them around pins and let them dry then it was like Putting on a patch

Also Mummynat who received the poppet posted these pics Much better.

Hope you enjoy. Thank you for looking

wow--what a generous and wonderful gift!

The details are fabulous on the coat and the face is just so handsome!

You certainly did a wonderful job...and the extra outfit is also very well made.

The way you did your yarn designs is very similar to making wire embellishments/jewelry--very nicely done and intricate work

I love it. I had to show it to my son, who is my "Legend of the Seaker" viewing partner.

What a great poppet! I'm sure whoever got/gets it will or does love it!

From what I've seen of the show so far, it's not following the books at all. Sad. but it's still interesting.
