My new project bag. Featuring skully scissors.

I read around earth day about sun painting.  after waiting for the sun to finally reappear this is what i did yesterday.

all my progress shots coming up.

first off find a sunny spot and set up, with wet fabric.

paint on dilute setacolours and place 'masking' objects on wet fabric.

wait and obsessively check progress. ( whee it's working)

take off masking objects ( squee a  little cause it worked)

finish drying on the line (and have a beer to toast your new ability)

today was for cutting and sewing.

and finishing. this project is already being put to use.  a big one from crafty stuff and the small one will most likely do time as a change/gum/tampon holder....

the in progress shots mia- the sunday pics of hubby patiently cutting out skully and his scissors from craft foam...

i loved this challenge.  it's my first. Cheesy

Oooh I like that! And maybe I'm sheltered but i've never heard of sun painting. It looks really interesting and I'm definitely bookmarking this so I remember to try it sometime =)

ooh a new technique how fun. Were you able to buy the paint at your local store or online? Great colors I think it looks wonderful.

Love the colors. I used a tracing program to make the skull scalable to enlarge. If we could post files to share, this would be available, hint hint s4e. Cool

What a great project. I love what you created and the fact that you used a new technique and introduced lots of us to a new technique too.  Grin
