LOL! I've already started doing the same Sejimara. I took my recipe notebook to karate class tonight. While my kids were getting their ninja moves going, I poked through my recipes, making mental notes of what would be good to include in my collections to send. Cheesy

I realize that we shouldn't photocopy out of cook books. What about copying hand written recipes? I think there's one of my recipes that would be a great one to include, but I could end up writing it out up to 10 times.  Shocked

Ooooo....makes my hand cramp thinking of that.
If you handwrite a recipe, you could make copies of it. Grin

I like to type mine up.  Then I cut them out and decorate them similar to a scrapbook/card.  I keep them flat, though, so they don't get caught on any of my other recipe cards.  It makes them look nice and I don't get writers cramp when I make sets for the family.

My favs I've got taped to the inside of my cabinet doors next to the stove.  Keeps them on-the-fly handy and out of splatter range.

I LOVE to write!!!!  I love to get a new address book and spend hours filling it out, I've spent hours making a recipe box for myself (though I was new to adulthood and simply wrote out tons of recipes that sounded good... but weren't necessarily so, lol.  Later, my Mom had all of our family & friends write out their fave recipes on a designated recipe card and gave me the box full for at my wedding shower, and I cherish those... even the yucky ones, HAHA).  I also hand-addressed, in calligraphy, all 150 of my wedding invitations.  I do love to type though too and am pretty speedy on a keyboard.

But, my partners can probably expect hand written from me  Wink  I think it gives it such a personal touch, NOT that I mind receiving typed though, at all!

Yeah, I say I type all of mine, but when I went home last time I made my dad handwrite some of my favorites that he makes.  He thought I was being silly, but I wanted to always have that connection of his handwritten masterpieces.

I can see this may be a popular swap, and we will likely go over 25 participants.  SO...

Please welcome our fab co-organizer jennieingram!

Thank you dear jennie! Kiss

In honor of jennieingram, I'm off to make some Christmas Crack aka Cheapest/Easiest Last Minute Gift Ever-Chocolate Toffee Pieces. Grin
