I had an old pair of sunglasses that faded in the sun and my current fav pair (the ones in the photos) got scratched i my purse so I decided I need to make something to protect them. The outside is from a thrift store sweater that I bought to make into a cardigan but didn't work out, and my fav part the inside is microfiber so you can use it to clean the glasses. Onto the pics!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Oh that's great =) I'm always worried about my glasses getting scratched.
I have some mismatched socks that lost their partners that could make some great outer fabric for one of these... now to craft or pack....  Cheesy

Oh, I love the microfibre idea!!  I should really make myself a case...I have a screw that keeps coming out and then it's floating around in my purse.  I'm hoping it won't happen anymore, but if I had a drawstring case, at least the screw would be contained!

Hmm....I wonder if I have any microfibre I can spare....

Thank you! I plan on changing the string to something prettier soon I just used what I had at the time to make it. I needed more micro towels so I went to wal mart and bought a pack off 5 in the auotmotive department and used one foe this project and also made a pouch for my iPhone. They were super cheap.

Our automotive department doesn't seem to carry microfibre towels - I had heard that in the states, they had them there for really cheap.  I can get them with the cleaning supplies here but they're not as cheap.  Maybe another store, though - because that's a very good idea!  I love microfibre!
