Hi Guys! everything is sooo cute! I love the amigurumi mug. Seriously, if everything in the world could just have a cute face on it, there would be world peace.

Here's my contribution!

a wee elephant! He's a bit lopsided 'cuz I sewed his feets on unevenly. I think it makes him cuter

tickle tickle! you can see his green satin feet. (which were a PAIN to sew!)

Yay toys!!

What an adorable elephant!! I really love that he has different sized eyes and that his feet are a little wonky. It gives him so much character. I think the fabric you chose for him is perfection!

Is that a doxie in your avatar? I have 2 myself Smiley.

Yes that is Ziggy Stardust my mini doxie, official craft inspector! He just turned 1 year old and he weighs about 8 lbs. He's very cute!

Pixieval - I'm very new to sewing and I made bean bags for my son. I made simple squares and rectangles in every color, stuffed them and weighed them down. But they were great for learning colors and counting. We also used them for games like dropping them into a bucket, throwing them, etc.

I think I'm definately going to be sticking to squares and rectangles for a while, I obviously did not master that circle at all! That is a great idea about weighting them down, and using them for colors and counting. I could definately make some of those for my dd. How old was your son when you made them?
