A friend of mine asked me to make a purse for his seven year old daughter, soon to be eight years old. I told him to look at a gallery of fabrics that  I have on hand so she could choose what she wanted.  Here is the finished purse with one of the fabrics she liked.  It was my first time using this pattern I bought on Etsy.  C&C always welcome Smiley

What kind of interfacing are you using?

I used a heavy interfacing to give it some stiffness so it's not too floppy.  I was worried it's be too heavy but it turned out better than I thought it would.

It is fantastic! So much so that it brought me out of lurker-dom to make my first post. Wink I bet the recipient was very happy.

I haven't sent it yet, I wanted to wait till her dad was home after being out of town for the week before I sent it.  Tomorrow it will be in the mail.  I can't wait to hear her reaction to it.
