I made this for a friend last holiday season, but only got to uploading the pics from my camera recently. I knitted this on size 9 needles, with Caron Simply Soft in red and black (my friend's favorite colors).



and here's what it looks like on (there's a dalek on each end of the scarf!)

and my variations:

*pink = knit in red



I didn’t know how to fair isle when I first started the scarf, so the back was rather messy. I created two red blocks that did weigh the scarf down/flatten the ends rather nicely, but in the future I’d probably knit a second black scarf, or an inverse-colored scarf with red and black swapped to mask any messy stitching on the back.
