I made this for PureOath in the One Tiny Star Trek Thing Swap. I've never made a shrine before and I'm super proud of it! The box is approximately 2 3/4" cubed with little feet.
The outside of the box represents the Klingons so I covered the box with polymer clay to look like galaxies, the covered the edges with a black to red filligree. The writing says:
heghli' meH Qaqjejvam- It is a good day to die
and after the seperation it says
ghIj quet jaqhmeyjaj- May your enemies run from you with fear
The shadow box has a batliff that I made with clay, silver leaf and some string, it says
Qapla' batlh je- Success and honor

The inside of the shrine represents all the different aspects of Jean Luc Picard. *swoon*
The lid says:
Things are only impossible until they're not. -Jean Luc Picard
His official side is represented by a communicator pin, Klingon symbol and Captain's Log with the star date (I calculated it on the official star trek website) and  official message to #1: "Make it so",
His proper side has earl gray tea, flute, croissant and book.
Jean Luc's dark side has a Borg ring, phaser and bloody dagger. There is a bundle of matches with a paper that says "There are four lights" (that one actually hurt to make)
His fun side is represented by music, words, a glass of wine and holodeck

Whew, I think I got it all!

My partner loves it and so do I. Cheesy

Your tiny things are so detailed and well thought out...I can't believe how you analyzed Jean Luc Picard (*sigh*) and got all of those items!

What an amazing tiny box--I mean tiny!!!

Also, pretty cool that you wrote in Klingon!!

And I could have fit a shoe box of tiny things for Captain Picard. <3!!

It was pretty awesome to receive it! My husband and I just kept looking and marvelling at all the tiny things!

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Wow! That's very intricate work; it's quite impressive! I especially like the bat'leth and how well you captured the essence of Picard. Nice work!
