My friend's niece graduated from college recently, and she wanted to give her something special - so, we came up with these paintings of some of her favorite things - they're all roughly 3 or 4 inches square - so tiny, but they're going to grace the wall in her first "grownup" apartment, so she's very pleased with them.  I realized I took these before they were matted & framed, and then didn't get any of the "whole package" - so, you'll just have to imagine a light grey matt and gunmetal colored thin frames.












My painting prof always used to complain that my paintings were "too illustrative"....  I was a bit fussed over them, but now I think I like the way they turned out.

I think these are lovely, i like the plearls the best. Dont let your prof get you down, in highschool my art teacher told me my work was too depressing and i completly gave up on art. Keep up the amazing work!

It's all good -- now I am the high school art teacher!   Actually, I teach at a K-12 program, so I get to do projects with all age levels....   Wink
