Hopefully I posted this in the right area!!

Since I'm new, I can't post pictures until 10 posts, soooooo I posted links to the pictures Smiley

I've been sewing crazy lately and just wanted to share some of the stuff I've been working on. I made the patterns myself except for the potholders, which I got from one of my sewing books Smiley

Here are the coasters I made. I quilted them myself and also made the bias tape that went around it. There is a layer of batting in the middle so that it soaks up the sweat that drops from the side of the glass.

These are the potholders. Quilted the same as the coasters. I got the idea for the coasters after making a bunch of these.

And last but not least, checkbook covers!

Let me know what you all think! I would love to hear both comments and criticism!
Enjoy Smiley

I like these projects a lot. You're very good with the bias tape - mine always ends up wonky.

I was just thinking about making a checkbook cover.  These look great!  How do you like the button closure?  I always end up feeling like they're annoying, even though they are definitely cute.

You know, I never would have thought to make a checkbook cover!  I keep complaining because the cruddy plastic ones the bank sends always end up splitting down the spine.  This is a fabulous idea!  They are incredibly cute as well, nice job  ^.^

These are soo nice.  I like the way you made the potholders.  I am gonna use that idea as well to give as gifts and crafts shows.  I like the fabrics as well.  The binding on the coasters are cool.  What size are the coasters?  Wink  Grin
