I'm always trying to come up with creative ways to use plastic to keep them out of our landfill.
Especially, plastic cups because no one really thinks about what could be done with these and believe it or not, they are as fabulous to work with as a plastic bag.    For one thing, plastic cups  make fabulous notebooks, in my opinion more durable, longer lasting and won't rip or tear: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=341764.0

Then the creative juices started flowing even more and I came up with something else to do with them.  The awesome part of the Taco Bell hat is I crocheted this with taco bell plastic bag yarn.  That even made this more authentic:

and of course, gotta throw in a flower:

Thanks for letting me share this with you...

Thank you to all for the compliments.

LordVader - what a neat idea to tweet Taco Bell...  thank you for showing this off for me.

Crochet Dad - as an admirer of your creations I am very flattered that you took the time to check out my store.

I have to say your Fedora's are to die for.  I just launched my hat line and I am developing a pattern for a plarn version of the Fedora that I will be introducing.

The praise is well-deserved.

Please send me a note when your fedora is ready so I can check it out.  I've begun following your blog.  I hope to see more of your handiwork.
