I'm going to make some cushions for my mum, and I ordered some fabric online. Unfortunately they didn't have the colour I first chose in stock, so I decided on a different shade of green. I have this purple fabric I was planning on putting with it, but now I'm not sure if it's the right shade.

The original green I chose was a lighter one, but now that I have this one I'm wondering if I should use a darker purple. I'm planning to have the green as the main fabric, and use the purple as a reverse applique of a butterfly in the middle. I was also thinking of having purple ruffles around the edge of the cushions.

My dog Moon decided he wanted to be in the photo.  Cheesy

i think the colors look good together.  a darker purple would look good too, but i think the colors you have now are fine.   Smiley

Moon is adorable! I think the colors look great together too...from the photo the purple looks kinda iridescent, which is nice with the solid green.

The purple fabric shines turquoise when the light hits it, it's lovely.  Grin Thanks for your input.

I think it's lovely together! I'd keep the combo!

How is it that Firefly gets cancelled after one measly season, but Tim and Eric Awesome Show has had five ?!?

I think they look great together. Then again, I like just about any green and purple combo.
