Hi there! I have been fascinated by the mixed media stuff I have seen around lately and have bought a few of those magazines by Stampington and Co. (kinda pricey but cool).

Anyway, so I thought I would try my hand at it. I am making these pictures for my room. I decided I wanted to make it girlie, god knows a man hasn't slept in there in years! lol Tell me what you think!
This was my first on. I painted the frame a Cobalt blue, love that color!

This next one is my second attempt, the frame is a very light blue.

It feels like it's missing something. I love the first on and have it hanging in my room already. The other just quite isn't there yet.

On a side note, The next picture is the first ATC I have ever made and is still a WIP. It's for a swap on another site and it's just hand drawn and or painted, you can't add anything else to it. My partner has this thing for pigs so that's were my mind started.

Let me know what you think. Constructive criticism welcome!

I really like the first picture - It is so cool.  The second does feel like it is lacking some drama - can't put my finger on what to change (maybe a punch of  color behind the woman, or a different color for the curtains?)

Your 'pigs fly' ATC is adorable - I'm not a collector of pigs, but I love that little porker!

The little piggy has taken flight to Latvia for a swap. Hopefully she will like him too.
