So I've never done any scrapbooking before, but I came across some amazing stuff here and decided to give it a try! I went to Scrapbookgraphics as recommended by... someone on here, and I found some awesome freebies to start with (plus a large amount of non-freebies that I just don't have to money for right now!) and went to my beloved photoshop (I was addicted, this could be a relapse), spent about 10 minutes, and this is what I came up with. I'm labeling these a work in progress, I might fix up the pictures and I'll most likely change the writing too, but I wanted to share because I love it so far! I'll definitely add more to future ones, too, this was more of a "lets see if I can do this" project more than anything. These pictures are from our trip to Oahu last May (almost a year ago already, wow!) and were the only ones that came out since I had just gotten my camera. I spent a long time at the octopus exhibit, I love them so much!

Tell me what you think!

I love what you did with the brown page.  That filmstrip of the octopus is perfect!  I can't praise it enough!

Even though you say you just started scrapbooking, you do it like a pro.  You have a great eye.  The other eye works too lol

Thank you! I've actually fixed them up a bit, but they're not quite done yet. Your comment definitely made me smile!

Actually, I had an idea of putting that on a T shirt.  Some scrapbooking ideas look good on Tshirts.  I don't know how its done but some of the folks here have printed stuff on Tshirts using some non-printer techniques (if memory serves me right).

Hmm that gives me ideas... wonder what a robot collage would look like on a scrapbook like the one you did.

Chick, these look great!!  Love the photos & that font in the first layout is very cool.
I have never attempted digital scrapping - - a little intimidated still!
