I don't know about anyone else, but I'm in LOVE with the Dark Tower books by Stephen King and I think there's a lot of cool things that could be made from them. Anyone else think so?? (I've always wanted a stuffed Billybumbler... Wink )

I wouldn't be able to organize it, but I'd be willing to join depending on time frames.

Oh yeah. I'd be in. I don't have the time to organize (and I'm a little afraid to, anyhow!) but this is a deep freakin' well to draw from and I can't resist.

This caught my eye; I would totally be in! I would need to re-read the series though - it's been a while.

Actually, I just re-read the swap rules, and I guess I could organize. It would be my first time, so I'd wanna keep it pretty small, maybe 10-12 people? If you guys're still inerested let me know what time frame would work the best for everyone, and we'll take it from there.

I would love to organize this swap, if you're not feeling completely comfortable kuckyjune.  I have been DYING for a Dark Tower swap, and it's a perfect excuse to re-read the books.  When were we thinking?  Perhaps sign-ups starting in early to mid September?  I'd like a long craft time on this one, since there is SO MUCH material to go through for inspiration?  A 5-6 point swap with a month of crafting time?  Thoughts?

That sounds perfect to me. I didn't really want to organize, I just REALLY want this swap to happen!

I just ordered books 1-3 from paperbackswap.com so I can re-read them.  Depending on when this swap starts/ends I may be joining.  I'm hoping that I'll get some good inspiration while reading!

Wow! I never would have believed there's so many other Tower-Junkies out there. I'm still totally in if anyone wants to organize.
