My mum is hard but at the same time easy to buy/make presents for. I get all my craftiness from her and we like similar things. But then again, she already has EVERYTHING!
So I embroidered her this beautiful blossom tree design.....But had no idea what to make with it....So I decided too pop it in a bag with a pretty matching FQ of spotty fabric (she loves spots) so she can craft up whatever she wants!
Cheesy

So what do you guys think? Ok idea or am I just being too lazy! Tongue

That's so pretty! I think it's a great idea to let her decide what to do with it, then it can be a part of something you both created!

It's very nice, and I think you're doing the right thing.  It's like receiving a DIY kit.

Very pretty Smiley. If your mom likes crafting, I think it's a great idea to give her the stitching + some fabric so she can make whatever strikes her fancy!

Thanks ladies!  Cheesy
She is coming down to visit this weekend since Mother's Day this year falls on my birthday and we are going to go crafty shopping! Woohoo! I even got a birthday voucher in the mail from the grave we are going to, as well as vouchers for mother's day. Leaving the hubby at home and going crazy!  Grin

I eat how you've done the flowers!

My mom would eat to receive this gift. She's pretty crafty herself.
