heya! WEll, this is my first swap, and I am super jazzed its such a fun one. My birthday is the 31st of may, my mum told the doctor she wanted a may baby, despite my june due date, and, well, she got what she wanted. Wink I'm an art student in central Oklahoma, military brat, and proud to be. I am dominantly a 2-D artist, favoring oil paint, but I have a deeply rooted love of crafting inherited in the family blood on both sides. I like to bind journals, cast soaps, bead jewelry, do some basic sewing, and a variety of other fun crafty things. I like all colors of the spectrum, although I visibly favor the cooler colors, emerald greens, royal purples, and a variety of blues. I'm not a huge pattern person, preferring more the movement of color.
I am an avid gamers, of both videogames and boardgames, everything for the final fantasy games to Magic the gathering (the original card game!), and a variety between. I love love love to read, terry pratchett is my favorite author! Am allergic to cats, sad indeed. =( I absolutely love hand cast rings, I have 2 one-of-a-kind silver rings I wear on ring and pinkie finger, its my goal to have one ring on each finger of my right hand! Also, its sad, but I hate tea. I know a lot of people love it. . . but I simply cant stand the stuff!
I love to cook, and i am always cold (low BP+Small veins=chilly). but I hate wearing tons of layers! I have super sensitive skin, that wool aggravates, but soft blends do ok ish. I like octopi, batik fabrics!!, silver, strawberries, aforementioned colors, jellyfish, giraffes (In exciting colors, I am a spawn of Lisa Frank!), cats (despite allregies), peacocks, dark beers, NCIS, Bones, Psych, Gypsy/hobo/punk (because I sometimes sleep in my car because I like it. . . ), camping, letterboxing, words, altered books, swoopy fun fonts, circles (But not polka dots!), and the number 2. =) (just for inspiration)

Concerning a list?

crafts

A large purse/messenger bag, that can hold some weight. as a nanny, waitress, and art student I always have lots on me
hand thrown pottery - mugs/plates/bowls, anything really. I like the dark, rich glazes, and would prefer 2 (I have 2 place sets of everything. . . its a tick Wink )
handmade/reusable pads. . . sounds manky, but look super awesome! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=344775.0 (4-6, I have a long one, its sad)
A leather bound journal. . . I can hard bind just fine, but soft binds are beyond me!
Handmade soaps are cool, M&P or coldpress, <-- that process looks so nifty! I like citrus-y warm scents. . . nothing to tangy, but tropical =)
A Gypsy/hobo skirt, I am a tall girl at 5' 8/9'', and love to wear ankle-midcalf length skirts in the spring, summer, and fall. I have seen some fantastic rainbow patch things on here! prefer lighter fabrics, heavier drape a bit odd on my hips/thighs (my trouble spot  Tongue )

supplies

fun heavy weight papers for covering journals with
Heavy pieces of board for using for covers! quality covers are the hardest things to find!
colored wax linen threads, I only have black =(
shrinky dink plastic, I have long admired peoples work with it!
synthetic bristle paintbrushes, I am forever going through them, pref. bigger, I like to work large =)
Metallic power for adding to paint! Dont remember the brand, but my local warehouse has some and they look like a fun thing to try!

extras

kinder eggs. . . I can't get them anywhere in OK, and I lived over seas for a while. I am an addict. I love them!
used Terry pratchett books. I love him, but cant afford to buy him new! I own tons, but if you can find a used pratchett, feel free to send it!
dark chocolate is a love, the darker the better!
did I mention kinder eggs?  Wink

thats the best I think I can do concerning specifics, I love the idea of handcrafted things, and do my best to support the community whenever I am out buying, be it for myself or others! I am just jazzed to see what people are willing/capable of doing in a situation like this!
