Hello! This is my first topic post on craftster, here's hoping I do it right  Wink

So yesterday I decided I wanted to make some pjs. I had some awesome Winnie the Pooh brushed cotton just crying out to be used  Cheesy So this is what it turned into... please excuse the absolutely rubbish photos (and the mess!), it's really difficult to take photos of yourself!

Really hoping that worked... Anyway, onto what I was wanting help with! I can't help but feel the top part is a little plain and was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions how to make it more interesting? It could be anything from a simple bow to Winnie the Pooh in rhinestones  Cheesy I just can't decide on anything. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for looking!  Grin

That fabric is adorable - I love what you've done with it!
Maybe you could applique a cut out of one of the Pooh's from the fabric and put it in the middle top of the top.

these are realli cool, i love the fabric you have used!
did u use a patterb coz i would love to make something similar for myself.
i think the top looks nice plain but you could of added a band of the winnie the pooh fabric around the middle, or you could applique or lace the top.

cute! i think it would be even better if you did some ruching at the top to make a sweetheart neckline...just sew a large straight stitch from the middle of the neckline down about 2 or 3 inches, and pull the threads to gather the fabric.  secure the threads with a couple knots and you're done!

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I've decided to ruche the top and maybe applique some Poohs to the bottom  Cheesy

I used this as a rough guide to making the bottoms: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Sew-Your-Own-Pajama-Pants/ and the top is just an easy tube top with straps attached. Nice and easy  Grin

me thinks, if you take a long thick strip of pooh fabric, fold it, gather it then sew on top of the shirt it will be pretty-weety
