I'm very sorry to hear about your cactus (my venus fly trap went the same way a little while ago ...) but your new cactus is mighty adorable. Smiley

Aww... I'm sorry for your loss. My experience with cacti was basically the one time when I was six and grabbed one of those round ones bare handed because I thought it looked 'fuzzy'. So many tiny little spines...

Anyway, your plushie is adorable!!

So cute! Did you use the planter/pot from your cactus or did you buy a new one? Just curious because I'm wondering if I could buy a planter/pot that small without having to buy a cactus.

Vdbonnet: I actually used an empty planter pot that was sold as part of a little seed kit in Target's dollar spot... the color was too perfect. So yeah, it was a dollar and I still have some tomato seeds that I can plant elsewhere!

Adorable! Sorry about your cactus... I, too, know the terrifying power of the Cleveland sun on plants!  Undecided

awesome! I love target and I suck at growing things. Maybe I should try some plant amigurumi. What kind material is your cactus made out of?

Awww... memorialized in corduroy... that's how I want to be remembered too. I also suffer under the Cleveland sun, and I have a "hardy" cactus outside. Looks like crap almost all the time, but hanging in there. I would prefer a happy one like yours. Smiley
Nice job!
