Once I realized that Heart Gold and Soul Silver had overworld sprites for all Pokemon, my first thought was: more cross stitch patterns.

These were pretty quick, but I was working on them on and off towards the end of the semester.

Squirtle was my starting Pokemon for Pokemon Blue, so I started with him:

I used Charmander for Fire Red since I figured there was no point in playing the remake exactly the same way as the game I'd beaten ten years ago.

For some reason I can't get the Charmander close-up to upload.  Sad

Bulbasaur is...I've never really liked plant pokemon.  I did most of Bulbasaur while I was substitute teaching.

Thanks, everyone!

I'm trying to decide if I should do the other regions.  Other than the originals, I think I like the D/P/P starters the best.  Sure, my quilava's been fighting bravely, but is it as boss as my empoleon?  No, no it is not.
