Grin  I RECEIVED FROM CRAFTYLITTLE MONKEY!!!!!!!!!  Holy cannoli, man!  Cheesy
Unfortunately, I am unable to post pics, so I am going to give a description of what she sent, and then right after this, I will let her know I received, so she can post the pics she took (Thanks, Craftylittlemonkey!)  Here goes:

-A PERFECT, soft, stenciled penguin shirt for my son!  (She had a lot of stash of things that I liked, so we agreed to not just "owly goodness" in the package she sent me.)  He is sleeping right now, but I guarantee he will FLIP when he sees this...and he's just an oh-so-cool 16 year old...hard to make him flip!  Undecided

-Extra "teacher owl" fabric (I am beginning to have a fetish with hoarding random bits of fabric and buttons, and she just fed into the fetish!)  Roll Eyes

-A horse themed bag for my older daughter, with an inside pocket!  The zipper on the inside pocket had a horseshoe attached, and inside the pocket was a keyring thingy that she can attach to her backpack for school that had a rhinestone, horse, and horseshoe charm on it!

-A postcard with an actual(?) photo of an owl on it...he kinda looks menacing, like "You'd better like this package, or else!"   Grin  She wrote a sweet note on the back too.

-We had a hard start b/c we have different wants and tastes, so I finallly told her I wanted a pocketbook.  Well, she sent a note saying, "I'm not sure what a pocketbook is, but I hope this is okay.", attached to the most well crafted, cutest owl patterned, lots of orange, PURSE!!!!!!!  As soon as hubby gets home to see my loot, I am going to put my stuff in this new purse!

-The most nifty deep red and green, wooden, apple puzzle box.  Hard to explain for anyone who has not seen one of these before, but it is REALLY cool, and this is only the second box I've seen like this in my life.  I opened it-just to see if I could-and inside were three charms!  (A gold frog, silver and resin(?) turtle, a fairy, and a turquoise turtle bead)

-Then, b/c items were inside items, she sent a little leather, zippered, keyring pouch thingy.  Inside was the motherload of jewelry!  Here goes:  a silver turtle on a LONG silver chain (thanks) with matching turtle earrings, and LOADED owl charm bracelet with matching owl earrings.  I REALLY like unique jewelry and I CAN'T WAIT to wear them!

Okay, I am going to start another post for the rest of the items...

Here's the rest:
-A soft, squishy, mini doll for my younger daughter that came in a little drawstring fairy pouch!  Right up her alley!

-Emoticon-themed thumbtacks, which are not only funny, but very much needed!

-A very well crafted, two types of owl fabric, travel tissue holder!

-An orange colored, owl decorated, felt covered retractable tape measure!!!!!!  (We were all so excited that me and my girls all had a go at trying it out!)

-A kitschy gold tone, metal earring holder....I just may have had this as a child as well!   Grin

-Last, but certainly not least....a bag for me made out of the teacher owl fabric, for me to bring to work!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

I am so happy that everything is liked and (hopefully) will get used. I had a blast making all that stuff, I love owl swaps SO much!
Miss Barbara, I thought a pocket book was one of those long wallet things, what is it exactly? I really couldn't figure it out!
Here is a pic of everything together

Wow- great package!! I have a bag lined with the teacher owl fabric too. Smiley My favorite item is definitely the penguin shirt- I just love it!! My favorite OWL item is the tissue holder. I'm not sure why, but something about that fabric combo just makes me happy. Again, wonderful package!

oooh!  How exciting.  What a super first post to the gallery.  Lots to live up to here. Off to flickr to check on the individual shots and decide on my fave.
Definitely the pocketbook/purse.  Too cute.
