A sweet little girl that our family knows had a terrible accident last night...fell out of an upstairs window and landed on concrete.  Luckily nothing broken but lots of cuts, bruises and pain.  She is four years old and I would really like to make her something special.  I have seen knitted bunnies and bears but don't know where any patterns are and if they are even something I could make.  I'm pretty new to knitting...so please keep that in mind if you know of a pattern.

I appreciate any pattern suggestions...thank you!

try your local library for knitting books. they ALWAYS seem to have a book of toy patterns.

also, if you search the finished projects forum there was a free pattern link for a knitted bunnyrabbit made from a knitted six-inch square (thus easy for a beginner, if that's what you are). sorry i can't find the link for you, i'm running way late for work... oops.

It is on my to-do list.  People have posted their penguins on craftster before.
