Ooh boy, averyg, can't wait to see!

I have to admit tho, I do feel behind now, especially since I've gone thru 3 complete different versions in my head and haven't decided which one to go with yet.  Tongue  Can't wait to cut and sew, hopefully tonight!

SunflowerSmiles, mom's are superwomen! I know, I've done things I never thought I'd ever do.  Smiley Just doing our job Wink heehee!
Looking forward to pretty hair!

All my poppet bits sewn ready for stuffing! Even gave him eyelids Smiley

He is a lot smaller than I thought he would be, was I supposed to enlarge the pattern at all?

Looking cute so far in a kind of gremlin way Tongue

I think that the size really depends on the type of fabric that you use... We had this discussion not that long ago over in the poppet-along thread. Here was some of the discussion: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205341.msg4022081#msg4022081. And http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205341.11060... Hope that helps!

PS. I thought I'd be a little booger and post a teaser of McBec27s poppet Wink

Oh SQUEEEE!!!! I can hardly wait to meet my new poppet!!! I must begin obsessively checking the tracking number!!!

I hope you don't mind waiting a bit as I'm still in the planning/cutting stages. I know what the poppet herself is going to look like - I have eyes planned and skin and all that, but not sure on hair/clothes yet. At least nothing definitive. But she's going to be pretty awesome. I think you'll really like her. She'll surely be worth the wait.  Grin

I don't mind waiting... I fully understand that most people have a life outside of crafting. I guess that aside from work, school, reading and crafting, I really don't do much of anything- but I am a-okay with that because I have lots of fun doing what I do Wink.

Well thanks muchly! I think I am going to have to make a poppet similar to McBec's for myself just cuz I liked her a lot...
But I really, really cannot wait to see what everyone else is coming up with Cheesy And ummmm.... You know, if anyone decides to take some in progress pictures of their poppet and post them on their blogs, flickr or whatever (hidden from their partners that is Wink ), they could totally PM me and let me know the link or whatnot, so I can indulge myself in their poppety goodness- It could be like an organizational duty Wink

All I have to say is...
"Dear USPS, please kindly update the status of McBec27's package- it contains precious cargo. With Thanks, Avery".
Cheesy
I hate being impatient  Roll Eyes But I am glad that I mailed it from the States- could you imagine if I had mailed it from Canada and had to wait the one or two weeks for it to arrive to her?
In all seriousness though, I love the US Postal service, its crazy, but I actually get to American post offices more than I get to Canadian post offices (with one being less than 10 minutes away from me to boot!).

Can't wait to see the first poppet. I hate relying on mail for the parts but I'm hoping for next week. Already hunting for material for clothes though .
