I made this 8 X 8 scrapbook page for my boyfriend. We're 1,478 miles apart so I incorporated themes about travel, such as maps and definitions of words like "departure" and "destination"


This is my favorite section. I love using buttons in scrapbooking


I was really happy how the little map envelope I made came out Smiley


I also used natural elements, such as pieces from flowers he has sent me. I also used a fabric background because I love different textures.


And then I bought a beat up display frame and painted and anitiqued it!

Love, love, love the layers and layers and different textures/dimension - - the keys are a great accent for the piece!
