The Lil Hippies are taking over!

So, last week the boyfriend caught a cold.  He was being a bit of a baby about it, so I stayed home to take care of him.  As soon as he started getting better, and we could leave the house without infecting the world, I got sick.  So I had a lot of time for crafting this week.
These dread bands are so addicting to make!  They're so simple, and I haven't had to buy any yarn for them yet.  It's all been stash busting.

This one reminds me of the Cheshire Cat.  It's made of wool in bubblegum pink and navy blue.  Perfect for adding a little mischief to your day.

This one is made with a bamboo/acrylic blend yarn, and it's really really soft.  I made one out of the same yarn for myself in all green, but I forgot to photograph it because it was on my head!

For the sports fans!  I live in Austin, and Texas pride is all over the place here.

I'm loving this one.  An extra wide rasta one.

Is it just me, or does this remind you of a big bowl of tri-color pasta?

These four I already posted, but I took some significantly better pictures.

This was really fun to make.  A giant dread tam in girly colors, made of a soft bamboo/acrylic blend.

And the obligatory rasta beanie.  These things are everywhere in April!  I'm told it's something mid-month... maybe around the 20th?  Wink

Its simple, but its a good idea. I really like the colors you used too. Do you have a pattern for them or do you just improvise?

Great colors, and an excellent use of stash yarns. I like 'em all!

Thanks everyone!  These things are super easy to make.  So simple, I'd feel just awful trying to sell it.  So here ya go!

Grab a hook, any size will do, but these were made with a J, and make a chain big enough to go around your head.  Make sure you have an even number.  Join in a big circle. *Dc, ch1, skip next st* all the way around.  With each subsequent row, *dc around next ch1, ch1* all the way around.

Thanks for the pattern, I have crazy untamable hair, so I'm always looking for cool headbands.
