are you going to use the metallic powders on your mirror or are you going to leave it dark and gothic?

I did use Pearl-Ex on it.  I tried mixing up a color, but it went all odd and I used Silver instead.  Just need to varnish it and take photos...but I'm busy today and then away for a few days, so... eventually.  lol

looking forward to seeing the mirror Smiley, though i kinda liked the dark look of it without the powders.

Constellation brooches. (from top) Aqulia (the Eagle), Corvus (the Raven) and Lepus (the hare)
i tweeked the blend using 'glitter white' (fimo) instead of white and reduced the amount of additional glitter i used. the result is much closer to what im after. its still gonna be a job and a half drilling and back filling the more predominant stars though Undecided
(Lepus is also a remake i did with the new blend.)

Corvus, detail.

experimental piece with leached and torn clay.
'Mountain reach' brooch.

i left the 'mountain' relatively unsanded to enhance the craggy effect though because the surface of the clay was uneven it made it quite hard to frame the brooch neatly. i like the concept behind this but im not entirely sure im happy with the finished piece Undecided

Shocked Wow, that mountain broach looks great, what a neat effect!

Huh I can't seem to find the motivation I need, to finish my projects. I have finally picked this one up again, and I am slowly making progress on it. (It's the same one I posted on page 5, back in July)

The eye is not quite finished, and I haven't painted the right eye yet. This is my first time, painting one of my unicorns white (all my others were gray), and I find it rather boring. I added hair texture to it, hoping that it would add a bit more visual interest, but I still find it boring Lips sealed. The next one will definitely, NOT be white, lol.   Grin
