My best friend from college is pregnant, and both her and her husband are huge geeks.  I wanted to procrastinate on a Kant paper, so I decided to make this bib for her baby. I pretty much winged it, so it didn't turn out perfectly.  She loves it, though, so that's all that really matters.  It just means I'll have to make more to get better at it.

Oh wow - I thought it was a bag from the thumbnail.  Very cute bib!

If you are going to be working at making more bibs you should try a pattern with a snap closure in the back.  It makes it easier for getting on and off baby and you don't have to worry about tying it too tight or loose.  You could even go and buy an inexpensive bib to make a pattern from to crank those puppies out Smiley

I actually thought about that, but unfortunately didn't have the proper materials.  Thanks for the tips!

Very cute!

And I wanted to say, I love the tie ones, I had fat babies and those velcro and snap ones had the necks too skinny, but I knew if there was a tie, it would work!

Thank you!  Her family supposedly has ginormous babies, so it is a very real possibility that her babies will be gigantic (which would be bad for her because she is a stick).
