These are my first socks!!! I felt I couldn't consider myself a well-rounded knitter until I tackled this. Not bad, if I do say so myself!!! I am new to the blocking concept. Could someone give me some advice on sock-blocking? *snicker*

Came out good. I"m also not a well-rounded knitter, so my opinion doesn't mean much. But I think your socks look great. Look comfy as hell too!

Those are great! Socks are really weird and complicated when you start, but after a few you realize it's actually fairly simple when you get the concepts down.

Good for you! Are they comfy? I love handmade socks Smiley

I'm jealous! I'm an utter perfectionist so every time I've started out socks I get these really nasty ladders. So I never got past like 30 rows! hehe.

Here are some DIY Sock Blockers

And an even easier one from a hanger.

These are beautiful socks Smiley I really love the colors!  To be honest with you, I have yet to actually block a pair of socks I've knit. I've found that putting them in the washer, or washing by hand depending on the yarn, and then just hanging them to dry is best for me. When I wear them they form to my foot perfectly which is totally awesome.  Grin

They look great! I've never blocked any of my socks, I'm lazy so I just throw them in the washer and then the dryer. I found this tut on knitpicks.com though, it might be helpful to you, I know they also sell those sock block shaped things too.

Handknit socks are the BEST! Your first pair turned out great. Good for you for managing to avoid SSS (second sock syndrome). You wouldn't believe how many single socks I have floating around my craft room Smiley.

I only block socks when I'm giving them as gifts. If they are for me I just throw them in the wash like others have mentioned.
