I have found alot of free patterns from the 30's and 40's, some from the 50's  at great sites like vintagepurls.Are there any sites like this that are focused on patterns from the 1970's?

For the most part, stuff from the 1970s is still under copyright so won't be as available as older stuff.

I would suggest hitting up the thrift stores & used bookstores.
