it's a little goofy, but i like it.  reminds me of some hippie tree hugger pattern from the 70s that went a little wrong...

i'm putting a button, or buttons, to hold the front in shape a little better, but i can't decide if i like anything i have, or if i should go shopping for something else.  in any case, it's very drapey in the front, and slightly longer in the front than the back.

this is a spread of the front part, so you can see what i sort of thought i was doing there:

these are the buttons i'm considering:

what do you think?

Very cool-the yarn colors are so pretty!

I've heard it both ways.

I'm looking to swap some knit &/or crocheted crafts for handmade CP/HP soap.

I love this! I would wear it. And the buttons are great!

i'm sure this will be fun to wear!
i like the buttons, but to me it screams for some simple but bold ones in hues of green and blue

now i totally want a swirly circle-skirt that's exactly like the tentacle-ish part of your vest!

Well, as someone who lived through that era, I have to say, that this is not something you would see unless you were under the influence of ... what.... let me think .... hmmm, you get the picture.

Great work on the 'tentacles?'.

I think mixing the buttons is just what it needs.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!
