Thanks ScotSkipper402!!  I'm not there yet.  First I gotta get thru Lana's Bday and last days as a Kindergartner and hopefully welcome a niece/nephew before we go.  It's been 5 long years since I went home to Hawaii so I'm really looking forward to it.  Smiley  It's also my 25th hs reunion!  Smiley

so i have all the supplies  i need now.  skin, hair, eyeballs...hehehe...

but of course real life gets in the way.  husband's brother is getting married in 2 weeks and their mom and stepdad and grandma are coming to town from florida.  so i have to clean. and i did.  it took me way too long.  but the house looks good.  so thats a plus.

i also made some stupid plan to make aria's and possibly my dress for the wedding...so  i need to start that.  but i think i will poppet in between stages to give myself a break from making clothing.  clothing frustrates me so i'll need something more fun to do when i'm at the end of my rope with our dresses.

atsuko, have a good time on vacation!  Smiley

So I started working on my project last night.  Got the pattern that was in my head cut into templates.  Too bad my head was too stupid to remember to add the SAME seam allowances to ALL the sides.  For some reason, I calculated the seams allowances wrong for a couple of the templates.   Angry  'Doh!

Drat.  Starting over again.  No worries, though.  This time it'll be right.  (I hope!)

Hooray for the arrival of skin! My 13 yo son was talking about how cool it would be if you had "invisibility power" and you could just make your skin invisible so everyone could see your insides Roll Eyes-it made me think of the poor poppet waiting for it's skin.

I've heard it both ways.

I'm looking to swap some knit &/or crocheted crafts for handmade CP/HP soap.

Does your son like to read?
There is a cool book by Andrew Clements about a jr. high boy who suddenly goes
invisible and how he copes (but not as cool as your son's idea of the insides showing  Smiley
Now THAT would be a story!  heehee
P.S.  I think it's called Things Unseen?
