So did the postal system pretty much shut down by you canamharris? I was reading about it in the news.  I knew I should've tried harder to send while you were still in the states!    

Yup just stopped in at the post office today to learn that the rolling strike is now a full strike! No mail is going anywhere for now! Yarg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is actually a nation wide lock out.
 the canada post corporation (CPC) locked out the union (CUPW) last week as a counter move to the rolling strikes, the USPS also stopped accepting mail to Canada.
 
yesterday the government tabled a 'back to work' bill in parliament.  the lead opposition party will be attempting to delay passing the bill until the house breaks for summer.

who knows... just think how many hoops will explode on to the scene once the mail moves. i hope it gets cleared soon. there are swaps up i would love to be part of...

 What happens to landlords and utility companies then for all the people who claim payment is "stuck in the mail"? 

But seriously, that's awful. I hope they get everything figured out fast!
