I don't mind sending two packages either.  I'm into new crafts lately and have lots of stuff from previous interests to offload.

Hey, do givers write a wishlist that their partner can take a look at before crafting their thank you gift?

I hope more sign up as givers. If not, I can certainly drop. I've had to stop my previous craft (knitting) more or less because of arthritis, which is why I'm getting into making jewelery. I just don't have access to all my knitting supplies for a bit yet or I'd be a giver on that front.

I might consider being able to ship out of my country to canada or something if it becomes too much of an issue =]
If you need to pair me with a giver from out of the country it may not be an issue for me to send their gifts, lets just see how things go toward the end of sign ups!

Just signed up as a giver. I have a lot of stashed yarn... a lot.

I signed up as both a needer and a giver. I need yarn for my new love of crochet and have a bunch of extra material laying around. I'm moving as of the 26th and won't be able to give details of my material until the 1st or later when I unpack but I hope I get in as both. Trades are always nice Smiley

8 hours, 15 PMs later, and we still only have 3 people who are only givers.

** edited to rephrase things

due to a sudden influx of people who are willing to be both givers and needers, i will not be approving anyone else to this swap until tomorrow.  i anticipate that signups will be closed tomorrow as well.  again, it's first come, first served.

while i appreciate everyone's generosity, i would like to say that while i will try my best to make sure that everyone's wishes are met, chances are not everyone can be both a giver and a needer.

What do the needers who are approved need? Just out of curiosity?

I signed up for jewelery-making supplies. If that can't be met, I'm perfectly alright dropping my spot for another needer.

I used to knit/crochet, but arthritis in my hands has led me to stop. I can get maybe 5 stitches before I have to stop. Jewelery doesn't cause that issue, so I'm trying to get there, but... being out of work a while on disability led to very little (er, no) income.

right now I just use what bits I can find and the yarn I still have. Cheesy lots of braided and knotted stuff. >.>
