That gourd is awesome!  Do you need special tools for cutting through it?

Is that turtle crafted or bought?  If that's made, WOW!  I like how rustic the homes are too.

Yeah, I made him!  I saw in Strawberryh's profile that her hubby likes turtles, and I had a mold for a turtle stepping stone, so I thought it would be perfect!
He is made from plaster, then painted, then sealed with about 20 coats of water-proofing sealer, so hopefully he'll hold up well.

I'm so glad you liked the plant markers!  I painted the words on first with sparkly blue paint, and then I traced over them with glow in the dark paint, so you can find your veggies and herbs when it is dark out.

Sorry i have taken a little while to upload pics.... have done my best and hope they upload properly as this is my first time... please add pics if you have them, Holistic Knitter, i want to do your fabby package justice Cheesy

A beautiful gardening/gathering apron... it fits my ever growing bump a treat and will be coming in very handy indeed as an extra pair of 'hands' aroud the home and garden Smiley

Gorgeous knitted fingerless mitts... i have wanted a pair of these for absolutely ages... love love LOVE them... the colour is perfect - i shall be treasuring these for many years to come  Grin

A really cool fabric covered journal decorated with different veggies and perfect for keeping track of our vegetable plot...

The cutest tote bag... complete with a hen and cockeral pocket to the front - i have 4 hens in our back garden so anything 'chickeny' fits a treat in this house  Grin
The tote, journal and apron all co-ordinate beautifully - i love that!!

These are a few of the lovely extras... a delicious vanilla and tangerine yankee votive, marigold and sunflower seeds (my girls adore planting sunflowers so these were a massive hit with them especially Smiley ) a book that my other half is dying to get his hands on... how to combat the dreaded slugs  Cheesy and i also recieved some cat chews for my lovely pussy cats and hairbands for my gorgeous girlies which have each made their way to their respective owners before having their pictures taken..... all lovely thoughtful extras!

Thank you so much Holistic Knitter for making my first ever swap so enjoyable and for sending me a fantastic package.... we crafted some very similar bits so clearly both have very good taste  Grin

xx

Nice package - that apron is so pretty!  You will have to share which ways work to kill off those slugs.  They love to do a number on my Hostas.

Okay, here are my awesome goodies.  Yes, I took a lot of pictures!  Please ignore my kitchen floor!

First off, the card and a little piece of paper with tomato seeds in it!  I'm going to have to get a new pot to put it in!  Cheesy

A gorgeous embroidered gathering apron:

with a close-up of the cherry tree and sweet bird:

A heatpack (though I think it'd work as a cold pack, too!)  It's filled with dried cherry pits - so cool!  I totally over-toasted the one I had so I was unable to use it since before the Snowpocalypse here.  I'm super excited to get a replacement that's far nicer!  (Do you think it can go in the microwave, Andrea?)

A very pretty recipe box with recipes (Rhubarb pie!  Tomato Pesto!  Something Swiss that sounds SOOO Yummy!)  The box goes perfectly with my curtains and may inspire me to actually paint as it's very close to the color I'm considering!

The extras: A turquoise glass candle holder that matches my bathroom PERFECTLY, some awesome coasters in my preferred theme of doors/windows/street scenes (so pretty!) and Swiss cookies in an amazing tin.  ETA: The cookies are DELICIOUS OMG!

And finally, the piece de resistance!  A windchime that's made out of shells and little silver sand-dollars.  It's absolutely GORGEOUS!

THANK YOU SO MUCH, MORRIGAN_LE_FAYE!!!
