I received a GREAT box from torilimcadle today!!!  It is full of prettiness!

I'll post pics tomorrow night (weather permitting) as I need a full light - dark cycle of hours in order to show the pure awesomeness of one of the items!  (My brave crafty partner has wiring skills!  Wow!)

THANK YOU, Tori!  Big smiles and laughter as I dug into my box.  I was so excited that I couldn't wait until I got home after going to 2 grocery stores so I opened it up in the p.o.  The post office ladies were ooooooo'ing and aaaaaaah'ing in wonderment over the big item!  Smiley

I'm so glad you like it!   Grin Grin

I received a really great package from my partner, mamantattoo, last Friday!

My little Ava posing with the first gift!  She helped me open the parcel and tried it on immediately.

It's based on an item I have wishlisted and I'm fond of the button detailing and hood!  And I really like the way it shows her belly button.  Hehe.

I'm going to have to get a better photo of the next one but I couldn't take one of myself wearing it...  Based on my wishlist again...  Something like a fairy belt/laying skirt!

I've started hula hooping and I can totally envision myself wearing this during practice.  I'm sure the sounds of the beads will help make for a great experience!  I love the colour too!

Next is my other cutie, Brahmi!  Following with the fairy/whimsical theme...

He wore the hood this morning while we were outside playing - the photos were taken just before - and fits perfectly.  I'm really happy that the back covers the neck!

I also received three candles, a package of thyme seeds (which I was in need of), and a mug that has been handpainted!

I like the harvesting journal maman made.  There are sleeves that hold a handbound notebook, a pencil, notes on mushrooms (the last two Ava stole and she actually has drawn in the notebook already).  The thyme seeds were originally tucked away in another of the sleeves.  I'm not sure what the stones/plant markers are made of but there was one for all of the herbs I listed in our discussion.  Sadly, some of them broke en route but the ones I photographed made it safe and sound, plus the gingko one which I had already added to the terra cotta pot.

Thanks so much for your hard work!

Aww! Thanks for posting pictures with your kids! I tried to make my daugther model the blue caplet but she really really didn't want too! >__<

...I think I forgot to mention the candles were citronella, as you asked in your questionnaire Smiley

..too bad only six markers made it out of 20! :S They are made of drying clay, not baked...so it's not really a surprise. I struggled trying to find a nice way to make markers. There are some beautiful out there but I had not burning tool or metal stampers so it limits the possibility...

..I'm glad you like it all! can't wait to see what you're crafting for me! Cheesy

edit: here's a pic of the belt before I sent.... Excuse the belly! Wink

I received from my wonderfull partner kaz today!
She really spoiled me and I love everthing!  Cheesy Be prepared to be jealous...  Wink
Look at this nice, gardeny box! I was jumping up and down when I saw it... Hopefully, none of the neighbours saw me in this moment..  Roll Eyes

The whole lot together

Kaz made me a wonderfull gardening apron:

I really love the fabric!  Cheesy
Here you can see a detail shot of the apron and the cute plant markers she sent to me. I especially love the beads, they make them so playfull! I'll add an action shot of them as soon as we have better weather here..

And I got a superb recipe holder with a lot of yummy recipes and some gardening tips. I got tips how to make my garden kitty safe so my fury friends don't get poisoned!  Shocked

And kaz spoiled me with some super duper extras:

I got a book about herbal healing, cute glass magnets and a sweet little notebook with a garden girl on its cover. The peanutbuttercups didn't make the long way, they arrived melted..  Undecided

Thank you sooo much kaz, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my package! You've been a great partner!  Kiss

I'm so happy you like everything, morrigan!  Cheesy  Sorry the Reese's didn't make it.  Boo.

dreadlocklove - the plant markers are curled thick gauge wire with shrinky dink markers hanging on them.  Plus some cute little beads because they looked a bit boring without colors.
