I like to hold straight pins in my mouth.

First, the big cuff I made:

I took the pale pink flower from a pair of clip on earrings that my mom gave me. They were falling apart, so I helped it along.
I made a frame for the cuff and arranged my beads:

I made a big spiral to give it shape

Put on the flower

And covered it with beads

Next I made an interesting looking pendant/brooch out of a cameo my mom also gave me. It too, had seen better days.

Without the cameo -- which I'm using in another wire wrap project. It took a long time to get all the old glue off, then I scrubbed it with soap and a toothbrush and baking soda... it's not silver.

I polished the inside a bit more and drilled holes around it

I took the stones from this pair of clip on earrings (one shown)

And went to work:

To finish it off, I glued a piece of black felt and cardboard to the back, the black felt added lots of depth to the design.
Thanks for looking!!

Wow, wire work always amazes me. I love your brooch, it's so pretty and mystical, and the  bangle is so cute. I like it that you recycle old jewellery, I have planed on spicing up a few of my old necklaces too, but I don't have enough ideas or tools to do it.

Wow. Beautiful.
And thanks for the in process pics-not that I have any skill at wire wrapping-yet! But it was neat to see how it came together.
I looove taking apart old jewelry. Goodwill is my friend. I'm always digging through the odd and end and broken bin they sometimes have.
Again, wow!
