I know that Etsy is popular, but how much are their fees? Are they expensive?

When I'm not making crafts, I'm dreaming them up!

I know this is kinda late on the reply front and kinda unrelated but being the curious person I am I compared the fees between etsy and ebay (for auctions not set price items or Business & Industrial equipment) (as of 9/15/10)
Etsy listing fee is 20 cents
eBay listing fee ranges from .10-2.00 depending on the initial listing price.
Etsy sales fee is 3.5% (not including shipping cost)
eBay sales fee is 8.75% for stores and 9.0% for non stores.
eBay also has a fee for buy it now ranging from .05-.25 cents.

if i could be anything i'd be your tear/because i was born in your eye/lived in you cheek/and died on your lip

I just started selling on Artfire and am selling so much more there and the fees are so cheap, I am so relieved to not have to be spending so much $ on Etsy fees anymore!
