I'm dying to knit something, I just might have to suck it up and use my straights, even though the stitches might get cluttered.  Wink
Mine are a little smushed but it still stretches as I knit.  so I can se what I'm doing and check myself as I go.

I'm not going to be done by my deadline. But I am going to finish this thing. I only have about 5 of the lace rows done. It's working quickly though! I can't beleive it! If I could knit ribbing so fast this would be done by now! lol
Oh goody, I was worried I wouldn't be able to see what I was doing.

Also: Don't give up! You still have time don't you? Take off work if you have to, you can do it!!!

Just knit the first inch of the bolero! It's so strange knitting with straights, I haven't done it in forever. The last knitting projects I've done were socks so this feels so awkward! Now if only it weren't so late and if my hands weren't already cramping, I would love to finish the ribbing before bedtime...but it will have to wait until morning.

Okay so I just started on the "lace" portion and am wondering if I'm doing it right. I can't really tell what it looks like since the stitches are so close. Does anyone have an in progress picture of the beginning of the lace portion?

That'll work great, I just got a free ride at a new craft fair tomorrow, so I will be participating in that for 12 hours tomorrow and won't have time to figure out a pattern I'm unfamilar with until Sunday after church.

I hate having to run tons of errands when I want to craft!

Has anyone finished this yet or have any WIPs?

I actually had time to work on it a bit today before the craft fair picked up! Only I know I don't have enough yarn now ...and my yarn did that wonderful thing where the skein randomly falls apart and gets knotted, so yeah, that's going to be fun to fix!

Oh no On all of that! Knots are not fun. I hope you can untangle it.  And find enough yarn. Do you still want that photograph?

Ok I'll take one in a bit. The sun is trying to peek out of the clouds so I can get a picture in a bit. The lighting in my house is terrible for pictures.
