Hi!

For about half a year now I've been saving leftover yarn from my knitting projects, tying it together "makin" yarn. My friends has also kindly donated their leftovers too, so it was a pretty big ball when I started knitting last week.
Anyways, I made this pc-bag for my boyfriend out of it:

before sewn together:

Detail:

This was part of a project on reus/recycling in my sewing club, it was good fun and it feels good to use some of the leftovers that are usually scrapped.

C&C welcome Smiley

Another use for left-over short pieces of yarn - really short pieces! - is to cut them into one inch pieces and scatter them outside.
For birds to use as reinforcement when nest building.

Not as nice as your Pc-bag, but ... .

Cool! Thanks for the tip! I've actually got tons of those little ends lying about now. I live in a loft-appartment, so I guess I simply might throw it out of the window for the birds to catch! Smiley
