Sad Crying Clown in an Iron Lung shirt old school Nickelodeon

I have been on an old school Nickelodeon kick lately, and nothing gets any more obscure than this little fella, the Sad Crying Clown in an Iron Lung...

It is hand painted (and sparkly) although I do consider it image reproduction because I make stencils with iron transfer markers to start off with.

it was featured in an episode of Rocko's Modern Life where he gets a credit card and starts buying a bunch of crap including a velvet painting of a Sad Crying Clown in an Iron Lung



I love clowns and I have a small clown shirt collection, this one has been put immediately into the rotation. I can't wait to wear it out, for people to recognize it or be super confused

That's so amazing. Ha! I love cartoons and totally used to watch Rocko. It's such a surreal show. That's so super cool. I totally want it.

This makes me cry.  I had polio as a child, and some of the people around me were in iron lungs.  I was lucky, but some weren't.

Wear your shirt with pride and if anybody asks you, tell them there's more to the story than they know.

MamaCatScrap: The Blue Meanie is my boyfriend (fiance at this point I guess) and that is THE Tickle me Meanie doll he used for promos during the ECW days, I just gave him a make over!! <3

pinokeeo: I am sorry for what you have gone through and I mean no offense...I didn't make it up...I just love clowns and obscure references...althou gh I understand thoroughly...My boyfriend grew up as the boy in the bubble...he had severe asthma and spent a lot of time in the hospital and in the "tent". He was allergic to pretty much everything but eventually overcame it and became a professional wrestler...
