Any Fairbanksters interested in a crafty meet up?

Hi All! I know I'm not alone here, but I feel a bit isolated.  I work with polymer clay, I sew (mostly dolls) and knit and crochet.  I have a space at the Farmers Market in the summer.  I'd LOVE to meet up with some local crafty types...maybe at ACRC or Take 5? Or the College Coffeehouse (right next to Inua Wool, if anyone needs more temptation....).

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays work for me....

Hi Melissa!

I'm in Fairbanks as well.  I mostly cross stitch, some bead work, do a little hand sewing, knit from time to time, and crochet.  (Even though right now I have a HUGE cross stitch staring at me from the corner that I haven't laid a finger on since before Christmas...) 

You have a space at the Farmer's Market?  That's really cool!  I love poking around there, and can't wait for it to get started again this season. 

I'd love to meet up sometime for a craft chat group!  Wednesday evening is a busy one for me, but Thursday evenings (like around 5:30 or 6 so I have time to clean up from work) aren't bad, and I can usually find time on Saturday for just about anything.

I'm a bad knitter- I have not yet had a chance to visit Inua Wool, and it's been on my list of stuff to do for ages now.  So I might be partial to the College Coffeehouse as a place to go.

Let me know, or shoot me a PM and hopefully we can pick a day!

Ooooh, you're gonna LOVE Inua!  Have you been to A Weaver's Yarn?  Also a great place for yarns of all types, including some wonderful flosses.  And unspun wool (having a mental block...what's that called? Grrr - dang mommy-brain!).

How would Saturday around 1pm at College Coffeehouse suit you?

Thank you for organizing!  I had a ton of fun meeting up with you!    It's so much fun getting to sit down and relax with new friends. 
 
I really hope we can keep it up on at least a semi-regular basis.  Poking around at Inua Wool after was spectacular too.  I'm still thinking about picking up the book with the fantasy knitting patterns too.

Hey! Haven't been to Craftster in awhile - sorry for the delay in responding!

That was fun - we'll have to do it again soon. But not on a Saturday - Farmer's Market has started.  Unless you wanted to come hang out at my booth! :-)
