My friend, who is thoroughly Irish, recently bought a new house, and, of course, needed a new mailbox. This was the end result:

Oooops! I just realized - I didn't take a picture of the front!  Guess I'll have an excuse to go visit, to take an action shot!  Wink

How cute!

I am thinking about painting a mailbox for my nieces new playhouse. My father just finished building it this weekend for thier birthdays (one just turned 1 on the 16th and the other turns 7 on the 26th)

Your mailbox has inspired me to get started! I can't wait for my day off tomorrow to start!

Great looking mailbox.  I like it a lot.  Maybe because I'm part Irish.  Nice work.
