Sera, great news on the job! And, your blanket looks awesome!

BabyCakes, I may be in for June so I can get back to my April project Wink And, I love that giant granny square blanket! But, the yarn is a bit pricey... I'll have to wait for a sale...

TheRobotSays, I love your Inga bag! I started on another one, using four rounds, and I was going to try the 13 square assembly. Lets just say that I ended up getting pretty frustrated with it, and decided to make this instead:

this is one side of the purse:

this is the other side:

i made a long strap because i have a large top area, if you know what i mean, and it's more comfortable that way: =)

and, i enclosed a zipper!:

I have put all of my typical purse items inside of it, and, so far, nothing has fallen out yet! (If I ever learn how to line stuff, i will definitely line both this and the purse I made for my sister. She says her pencils are always falling out of it haha)

Completely off subject, but I dusted the cobwebs off of my sewing machine last night, so I'm thinking that I'm about to get the sewing bug!!!

Lemme know what you think =)

Msface - I really like that bag. Lining isn't all that bad especially on a rectangle shape like that.

I would sew two fabric rectangles (the size of your bag) right sides together on all but the top. Then all I do is iron a small (maybe 1/4") lip around the edge to give it a finished edge. Place it inside the purse and hand sew it to attach it to the crochet. I whip stitch it along the edge, just catching a few threads of the crochet on the inside so it doesn't show on the outside.

It shouldn't take too long to do either! I hope that helps.

Msface I love love love your bag!!!!

I got home from my first day of work.  I'm really tired, and I only had to stand half of the day.  Tomorrow is my first full day of work.  Right now I'm working 12 hours a day 6 days a week.  Hopefully it will slow down soon so I can have more time to craft.

Sera unravled - that sounds hectic! Good luck for tomorrow!

I've fallen a bit behind, so I've got quite a lot of catching up to do. Fortunately my grannies are only 2 rounds so it should go quite quickly! I'm off to do 10 little squares  Smiley
